I have over 700 pics of food on my Facebook and didn't want to go through looking for an old pic and Sammie requested them 2 nights ago. :)

Here is my recipe:

Red Velvet Pancakes
2 cups all-purpose flour (I use whole wheat white)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 large eggs
1-1/2 cups buttermilk (I make them with skim milk and 1 ½ TBSP lemon juice)
1/2 cup plain 0% Greek Yogurt
Red gel food coloring
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup (approx) mini chocolate chips

Mix together dry ingredients, in a separate bowl (or bowl used to make buttermilk using skim milk and lemon and letting sit for 5 min) mix wet ingredients. Mix wet ingredients into dry. Stir in mini chocolate chips.

Cream Cheese Glaze (syrup):
4oz cream cheese softened
3TBSP (aprox) powder sugar
splash of vanilla
milk to thin out
Blend with mixer until smooth and as thick/thin as you want.

Sprinkle a few extra chips on pancakes after glaze if you want. :)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00750950563798132210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-200794875989562333.post-71199678258347802442012-04-24T16:10:23.914-04:002012-04-24T16:10:23.914-04:00YUM! would love to try red velvet!YUM! would love to try red velvet!blabla kidshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02184717293401996892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-200794875989562333.post-69403638687077459372012-04-23T22:52:23.437-04:002012-04-23T22:52:23.437-04:00They look delicious!
